Trenton Thunder right-handed pitcher KC Hunt has been named MLB Draft League Pitcher of the Week for the week of June 6-12, today the association announced.
Hunt has not permitted a run in his first two starts of the season for the Thunder, posting nine innings of four hit-ball with two walks and 12 strikeouts.
Hunt is a Wyckoff, N.J., native who is a junior at Mississippi State University, where he pitched for the 2021 National Championship team. Before college, he attended Ramapo High School, where he starred on its baseball and basketball teams and picked up several All-America and All-State squad honors.
The Thunder are a collegiate summer baseball team of the MLB Draft League.
