Today, Newark Central High School and Team Sharp’s Faith Robinson picked up her first offer from the Division I University of Rhode Island womens’ basketball program, she Tweeted.
Additionally, the 5-foot-11 Robinson possesses a high-energy motor, and plays a fierce defense, with a propensity to clog the paint, change the course of shots, and send the basketball into orbit when an offensive player thinks she has a chance at a bucket.
Robinson’s 2021-22 season stats speak volume about her skill set. She enjoyed a terrific sophomore high school campaign, scoring 434 points, grabbing 350 rebounds, making 154 blocks and 158 steals in 25 games this past season.
The rising junior helped Central High School Blue Devils to a 16-9 record and a 9-0 mark in the SEC – Colonial division.
Rhode Island posted a 22-7 and went 12-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference this past season.
