St. Peter’s (N.J.) transfer KC Ndefo is withdrawing from the 2022 NBA Draft and has verbally committed to Seton Hall Mens’ basketball yesterday, per sources.
Known to be an elite defensive player, he blocked 14 shots in four NCAA Tournament games last spring. Ndefo also earned the Lefty Driesell National Defensive Player of the Year award as the top defensive player in Division I hoops.
The Elmont, N.Y., native starred at Abraham Lincoln High School on Long Island.
In 2017, he helped the team earn a Nassau County Championship, and in 2016, he helped lead his team to a state championship victory.
Seton Hall posted a 21-11 record and went 11-8 in Big East Conference action in the 2021-22 campaign.
