Eagle Academy II’s Jaquel Morris Commits to Miami Ohio Hoops

2022 Eagle Academy (Brooklyn) forward Jaquel Morris has verbally committed to Miami of Ohio Mens’ basketball program, yesterday he Tweeted.

Jaquel Morris commits to DI Miami of Ohio.

Additionally, Morris held offers from St. Peters (NJ), Southern University and Hofstra.

The 6-foot-8 Morris averaged 11.50 points and 15.6 rebounds per game in 13 regular season contests and 11.5 points and 15.3 boards in six PSAL playoffs tilts this past 2021-22 campaign.

Morris played for Floral Park Memorial High School (Long Island), where he averaged 3.9 assists, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 rejections per game as a sophomore, as listed on MaxPreps.com.

Miami of Ohio posted a 14-18 record and went 8-12 in the Mid-American Conference in 2021-22.
