2022 Woodward Career Technical High School (Ohio) guard Paul McMillan IV has verbally committed to New Jersey Institute of Technoloy (NJIT) Mens’ basketball program, today VerbalCommits.com Tweeted.
Before committing to NJIT, McMillan held offers from a number of Division I colleges, including UT Martin, Xavier, Loyola Marymount. Ole Miss, Dayton, Ball State, Cal State Northridge, Louisville, Purdue, Clevland State, Penn State, Cincinatti, Kansas State, Grambling State, Arizona State, Georgetown and Nevada, among other, per sources.
The 6-foot-2-inch, 175-pound point guard scored 2,658 career points and earned Ohio’s male Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year and the Co-Ohio Division II Player of the Year honors.
The Highlanders posted an 11-18 mark and went 6-12 in American East Conference (AEC) action this past season.
