Former DePaul forward David Jones is transferring to St. John’s (N.Y.) Mens’ Basketball program, yesterday the New York Post reported via Twitter.
The 6-foot-6, 195-pound Jones averaged 14.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game and made a total of 47 steals in 28 contests this past season.
Jones, a class of 2024 member, is a native of Dominican Republic who played high school basketball at Teays Valley Christian School, in Scott Depot, W. Va.
He also played for Boo Williams on the AAU circuit, averaging a team-high 24 points per game during the U16 EYBL season.
