Quanirah Cherry-Montague, a rising senior wing at Atlantic City High School, recently picked up Division I offers from Ohio State, Florida State and St. John’s, per Select Events Basketball’s Tweet.
It is fitting that the 6-foot-4 Cherry-Montague plays in Atlantic City, as she is a player you can surely bet on in the future. She has taken huge steps from under-the-radar player to rising prospect. She drained 275 points, grabbed 249 rebounds and made 66 blocks this past high school campaign with the Vikings.
Additionally, Cherry-Montague, who possesses a 6-foot-11 wingspan, is turning heads with the NJ Sparks this girls AAU season. For a big, she can defend and play multiple positions due to her high athleticism and handles and shoots the ball well.
She also holds an offer from Rutgers, among other colleges.
