Stepinac’s Samuel Gibbs Chooses Loyola Hoops


Archbishop Stepinac High School (N.Y.) point guard Samuel Gibbs has verbally committed to Division I Loyola University Maryland Men’s Basketball program, today he Tweeted.

Point guard Samuel Gibbs verbally commits to Loyola Maryland University Men’s hoops.

Additionally, Gibbs held offers from Manhattan and St. Peter’s (N.J.) before landed with the Greyhounds.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound Lohud Sports First Team selection averaged 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game this past season.

The Greyhounds posted a 14-16 record and went 8-11 in Patriot League Conference (PLC) action in 2021-22.
