Brooklyn’s Eagle Academy for Young Men II guard Eric Acker has picked an offer from Division I Holy Cross Mens’ Basketball program, yesterday the team Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-1 Acker holds offers from St. Francis (Brooklyn) and Fordham.
A rising senior, Acker led the Eagles in regular season scoring average with 18.7 points per game and averaged 20.0 p.p.g. in six contests during the postseason in the 2021-22 campaign. Also, he helped guide his team to the PSAL Class “AA” Championship game, a 77-52 loss to South Shore at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn.
Holy Cross posted a 9-22 overall record and went 7-11 in Patriot League Conference action this past season.
