The Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) today have announced that they have signed right-handed pitcher Connor Law for the upcoming 2022 season.
Law, who the Toronto Blue Jays signed in 2017, owns a power arm, with a heater that sits around 94-95 miles per hour. The FerryHawks said in a Tweet that they will use him out of the bullpen.
Law, 27, pitched four seasons of minor league ball in Toronto’s organization, recording an 8-1 record with a 3.34 ERA while ringing up 158 strike outs in 148 innings of work in 108 games.
Before becoming a professional, the Chatham, ILL., native pitched for Division II Lindenwood University (MO.), posting 15-7 mark with a 3:38 ERA, and whiffed 152 batters in 184 frames in 68 contests.
