Elijah Barnes, formerly of Mater Dei Prep and Princeton Mens’ Basketball program, has entered the transfer portal, today VerbalCommits.com Tweeted.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound Barnes is a graduate transfer with a season of eligibility left.
Barnes, a Freehold, N.J., native averaged 1.8 points per game and grabbed a total of 30 rebounds in the 2021-22 season.
He was a four-year varsity starter and surpassed 1,000 points during his career at Mater Dei Prep. Additionally, Barnes earned NJ.com second-team, Non-Public all-state honor and third-team all-state in 2017.
