NEW YORK — After firing a shutout in her first collegiate start in the circle, the Division III Skyline Conference has named St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn) Bears sophomore Autumn Poppett (San Diego, Calif./Mission Hills) the Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played March 7-13, today the league office announced.
Poppett struck out five, walked none, and scattered four hits in a five-inning, complete-game effort on Sunday in a 15-0 victory over Albright College (Penn) at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
