Three August Martin High School Football players took a visit to Division III Buffalo State (N.Y.) yesterday, and all three were offered roster spots: Quarterback Christopher Davis, running back Judeley Francois, and offensive/defensive lineman Alwin Aaron, whom the Bengals are recruiting to play the offensive line, per Head Coach Kyle Allen.
Davis picked up his second offer (Hilbert) and Aaron (Hudson Valley) also earned his second while Francois gets his first. Nicholas Fonseca earned an offer from Buffalo State earlier this month.
Davis completed 41 of 49 passes for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns and only one interception in four regular season league games. He also rushed for 97 yards on 14 carries with four scores.
Davis’ total stats were 89 completions on 134 pass attempts for 1336 yards and 15 touchdowns with nine interceptions. On the ground, he scampered for 123 yards on 41 carries and four scores.
In the playoffs, he completed 20 of 31 attempts for 310 yards and three TDs with three pickoffs in two contests.
As for Francois, he made 40 tackles, seven for a loss, two sacks, three fumble recoveries, which two went for touchdowns, and a safety, while Aaron has 27 stops, eight of which were behind the line of scrimmage.
Overall, for the Falcons program since Allen and Assistant Kristopher Sino took over the program in 2018, with 2020 lost due to COVID-19, they will have at least 10 players on college rosters next fall, two of which have earned DII scholarships: defensive player Michael Oriakhi (Tiffin University) and two-way standout Isaiah Allen (Pace University).
Additionally, there are already three players–QB Tyler Parham and Michael Fredrick at Morrisville and Promise Nkwocha (Husson)–at the DIII level.
