Senior Jaquel Morris of Eagle Academy for Young Men II (Brooklyn) today picked up an offer from Southern University Men’s Basketball program, while senior Emarquis Jones today earned an offer from Clinton College, their high school Tweeted.
Morris, who also holds an offer from St. Peter’s (N.J.) has averaged a double-double of 11.4 points and 15.6 rebounds per game in 13 tilts during New York City’s Public School Athletic League’s (PSAL) regular season.
Jones has averaged 3.15 points and 2.4 boards per game in seven PSAL contests this year.
Southern University Men’s Basketball plays Division I hoops in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAG). The Jaguars are 10-14 overall and 9-3 in SWAG action through 24 games.
Clinton College, coach by Brooklyn native Dee Fraizer, is a dual member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) who competes in the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference (EMAC).
The Golden Bears are 14-4 overall and 5-1 in EMAC action thus far in 2021-22.
