The first game of three consecutive got off on the right foot for St. Joesph Hill Academy’s basketball team, as the Koalas took down St. John Baptiste, 45-31, Friday night at The Post in Brooklyn.
It was St. Joesph’s Hills’ five straight win, while St. John Baptiste dropped to 6-2 in league action.
Koala junior guard Madison Crocco led the offensive attack with a game-best 15 points while junior forward Elizabeth Bennett contributed 14 in the victory.
St. Joseph (14-3 overall, 8-1 in CHSAA) looks to continue their momentum on Saturday at 1:45 p.m., as they travel to Kennedy Catholic, in Westchester, N.Y. After that, St. Joesph heads back to Brooklyn on Sunday to take on Xaverian at 1:00 p.m.
