Roselle Catholic’s Akil Watson Picks Up 13th DI College Hoops Offer from Florida State

2023 Roselle Catholic (N.J.) forward Akil Watson yesterday had received an offer from Florida State, per Tweets, his thirteenth to date.

Additionally, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Middletown, N.Y., native holds offers from USC, Maryland, Miami, Illinois, Providence, UConn, Georgetown, Creighton, Auburn, Seton Hall, Nebraska, and St. John’s.

Watson, who also suits up for New Heights Lighting NYC, spent his first two years of high school at Don Bosco Prep (NJ), where he drained 390 points (11.8 p.p.g. and grabbed 97 rebounds in 33 games).

The Seminoles are 13-9 overall and 6-6 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action.
