It was another outstanding game for junior Nicole Melious, who led Wagner (12-3, 9-0) with 50 points en route to an 84-22 PSAL Staten Island Class “A” victory over Petrides (3-6) Thursday night at home.
Melious also grabbed 11 rebounds and had nine assists while sophomore Samantha Harrell contributed 14 points. Senior Audrey Bonoan added eight points and eight helpers.
It was Melious’ fourth 50-point game this season, giving her 616 total points for the season and 1562 for her high school career. The 5-foot-8 guard, who is committed to Georgia Tech, is now averaging 40.3 ppg in PSAL action, and 41.1 overall.
The Lady Falcons host Harry S. Truman Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
