Junior Nicole Melious used an impressive double-double of 45 points and 10 rebounds to pace host Wagner Girls’ Basketball to an 87-49 league victory over CSIHS/McCown Monday night at home. She also added four assists.
The Lady Falcons’ victory ran their PSAL Staten Class “A” division record to 8-0, and 11-3 overall.
Senior Shanelle Smith dropped in 15 points while sophomore Samantha Harrell contributed 13 in the win.
Wagner hosts Petrides on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in league action.
