Senior Paulina Paris went off for 34 points, as Saddle River Day (6-0) routed Farragut (Tenn.), 78-58, in the final round of the Tampa Christmas Invitational Hoops Tournament in Tampa, Fla., on Saturday.
Paris–not only one of the best players in New Jersey, she is arguably among the top hoopers in the tri-state areas of New Jersey–New York-Pennsylvania–nailed eight three-pointers and dished out five assists.
Paris, who was named tournament MVP, is a University of North Carolina commit who has 146 points (24.3 ppg) through six contests.
Senior guard Dakota Corey added nine points, senior Cierra Pearson and sophomore Julianna Almeida had eight and seven, respectively, in the victory.
