Two Big East Basketball Colleges, St. John’s and Xavier, today offered 2022 Southern California Academy (Calif.) guard Amaree Abram.
In addition to the two Big East schools, Abram had committed to Texas A&M before reopening is recruitment. He had offers from McNees State, Oral Roberts, Lamar, Old Dominion, UIC, Sam Houston State, Louisan State, Texas Tech, Wichita State, North Texas, Northeastern, Texas State, and Georgia State.
The 6-foot-4, 175-pound Port Arthur, Texas, native is a complete student-athlete: 3.8 GPA; Rivals Top 12 (Texas); Houston Top Five Ranked Player; All-District; and All-Region.
St. John’s posted a 16-11 record and went 10-9 in Big East Conference action last season.
