Marissa Scarano of Newberg Free Academy (N.Y.) has verbal commitment to the Division I University at Albany (N.Y.) Great Danes Women’s Softball program, yesterday she Tweeted.
Scarano, a slap-hitting junior outfielder with some power, also played softball for the Empire State Huskies 16U squad.
The Great Danes posted a 23-19 overall record and went 12-6 America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2020-21 season.
