Pride, Gales Men’s Hoops Offer Former NBA Veteran’s Son Nolan Causwel

Hofstra and Iona Men’s College Basketball programs yesterday have offered 2022 Laramie County Community College (Wyo.) forward/center Nolan Causwel, per Tweet from VerbalCommits.com.

Nolan is son of Duane Causwell, a former NBA plater who spent 11 seasons in the league with the Sacramento Kings and the Miami Heat.

The 6-foot-10, 230-pound Duluth, Ga., native averaged 4.0 points per tilt last season with the Golden Eagles.

Before that, Causwell played in 23 games and made one start as a freshman for the Gulf Coast College Commodores, averaging 1.1 points per game and 2.3 rebounds per contest in the 2019-20 campaign.

Iona posted a 12-6 overall record and went 6-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this past season, while Hofstra put up a 13-10 mark and went 8-6 in the Colonia Athletic Association (CAA) play this past season.
