After garnering over 25 offers, Roselle Catholic’s (NJ) Simeon Wilcher has verbally committed to North Carolina Men’s Basketball Nation, yesterday he Tweeted.
The Tar Heels had offered the 6-foot-5, 185-pound shooting guard in early September before making his final choice yesterday. Wilcher, a five-star recruit, had offers from St. John’s, UCLA, Oregon, Illinois, Georgia Tech, UConn, Memphis, among other colleges.
ESPN currently ranks the New Jersey native 12th in the nation in the 2023 class.
A crafty floor general with a killer crossover, Wilcher also plays AAU ball for the NY Renaissance (Rens).
