Nasir Rodriguez of Monsignor Scanlan (NY) and NY Gauchos AAU has received an offer from George Mason University Men’s Hoops, per sources.
A 6-foot-4 sophomore guard, Rodriguez also holds an offer from Robert Morris.
Rodriguez is one of those high school players you have see a few times to really appreciate his ever-improving skill set. He possesses a long, lean body, and should grow more into his frame due to his youth.
Additionally, he owns a multifaceted game, shooting the rock well, with solid inside-outside abilities. Rodriguez also sports disruptive hands on defense, forcing the opposition to make flubs.
But make no mistake, the Bronx native will be a top high school prospect in no time.
The Patriots posted a 13-9 mark and went 8-6 in the Atlantic 10 Conference this past season.
