Another talented New Jersey female high school basketball player is off the boards, as St. John Vianney’s Janie Bachmann today has verbally committed to Holy Cross (Mass.) Women’s Basketball Program, she Tweeted.
Bachmann scored 39 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and made 20 steals in 14 games this past season with the Lady Lancers. But the gifted junior guard put forth a solid showing on the AAU circuit with Team Rio 16u squad over the spring and summer, which increased her college recruitment stock.
Moreover, she should improve over her remaining two years at SJV, and shine on the college ranks once she arrives at Holy Cross.
The Crusaders posted a 7-8 overall mark and went 7-7 in Patriot League Conference action in the 2020-21 campaign.
