Impact Wrestling Adds Martinez, Michelle, Lady Frost to Knockouts Knockdown Matches

The Impact Wrestling’s women’s division has just received a shot in the arm, as it has announced former NXT standout Mercedes Martinez, Renee Michelle, and Lady Frost will be joining Knockouts Knockdown matches this weekend in Nashville, Tenn., sources Tweeted yesterday.

Martinez, a fiercely strong and experienced wrestler, possesses the biggest threat to current Women’s Champ’s, Deonna Purrazzo, belt.

Michelle, the wife of current WWE Raw wrestler Drake Maverick, is experienced in her own right, having spent time with WWE, AEW Darkness, Impact Wrestling, among several independent promotions. She also competed in the WWE Mae Young Classic.

Frost, who I saw wrestle New Jersey native Purrazzo a few months ago, sports a cool gimmick and in-ring skills to match. She also battled Asuka in 2018, in a losing effort.

Frost is second generation wrestler, with Tony Silipini being her grandfather. per source. Silipini, who used monikers such as Battman and Tony Marino, wrestled for around 24 years, and spent time in the ring with World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) territories.

Frost, whom her husband, Victor Benjamin, introduced her to sports entertainment, is the coolest pro wrestler you will ever witness. Benjamin, a mixed martial artist, and Frost comprise the Pretty Proper team on the indies.
