Salt Lake CC (Utah) guard Quincy McGriff has received an offer from Iona Men’s Basketball program, he tweeted yesterday.
The sophomore adds the Gales to his college recruiting list along with Oral Roberts, UIC, Cal Poly, Texas A&M, Portland, Cleveland State, and FIU, according to VerbalCommits.com.
McGriff, a Los Angeles, Cali., native averaged 10.7 points per game (257 points), with 67 assists and 69 rebounds in 24 games for the Bruins last season.
McGriff earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Player-of-the-Week honors in early April after scoring 22 points and burying the game-winning shot in a SLCC victory over then-No. 7 Southern Idaho.
Iona posted a 12-6 overall mark and went 6-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in the 2020-21 campaign.
