Staten Island’s Nicole Melious Earns Invite to Coach Wootten’s Top 150 HS Hoops Camp


Nicole Melious of the AAU Hoopers NY and Susan Wagner High School (Staten Island, NY) basketball teams has been invited to the prestigious Coach Wootten’s Top 150 Camp on Saturday, October 2nd-3rd in Mansfield, Texas.

Coach Wootten’s Camp, for both boys and girls high school hoops players, has extended invites to the top 75 in the class of 2022, top 75 in the class of 2023, and the top 50 in the class of 2024.

The camp includes skill instruction, 3 versus 3, 2 versus 2, and 1 on 1 play, and games as well bracket competition for a camp championship.

Melious, who possesses one of the quickset releases and best long-range jumpers in the tristate area, has been lighting up courts for the past few years, and has drained 946 points in her first two seasons as a Lady Falcon.

The 5-foot-9 guard is a Georgia Tech commit, with the reachable milestone of scoring over 2000 PSAL high school career points with two years left at Wagner.

Coaches Morgan and Joe Wooten are high school coaching legends, with a hands-on approach to teaching the next generation of ballers.
