6-foot-8 rising senior Jaquel Morris of Eagle Academy For Young Men II (Brooklyn) yesterday had received an offer from Division I St Peter’s (NJ) Men’s Basketball program, per Brian Reichert on Twitter.
This is the first offer for Morris, who scored eight points in four games in limited action last PSAL (NYC) season for the Eagles, per VerbalCommits.com.
Morris is a newcomer to the recruiting scene, but he could make waves if continues to develop physically and gains more hoops experience. according to sources.
Morris played for Floral Park Memorial High School (Long Island), where he averaged 3.9 assists, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 rejections per game as a sophomore, as listed on MaxPreps.com.
The Peacocks posted a 14-11 overall record and went 10-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MACC) in the 2020-21 campaign.
