Otega Oweh is one of the hottest high school prospect in the nation, as the rising senior at Blair Academy today added his twenty-first college offer from Illinois Men’s Basketball program, he Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard owns Division I offers from Georgia, Providence, Oklahoma, VCU, Minnesota, Miami, Washington, Penn State, Virginal Tech, George Mason, Georgetown, UMass, Maryland Eastern Shore, St. John’s, Nebraska, DePaul, George Washington, Columbia, Brown, and UPenn, per VerbalCommits.com.
Oweh only played in one game this past season (not sure why), but he was a standout player at Rutgers Prep, scoring 433 points and grabbing 191 boards in 29 tilts (14.9 ppg and 6.6 rpg) in the 2019-2020 campaign. Oweh also plays AAU basketball for Team Final Nike EYBL.
Illinois posted a 24-7 mark and went 16-4 in Big 10 Conference action this past season.
