Fordham Women’s Basketball has recently added two local high school products: Ashley O’Connor (St. John’s Vinney/N.J.) and Kaety L’Amoreaux (Maine-Endwell High School/N.Y.), per Twitter).
O’Connor, a 5-foot-9 rising senior guard, scored 79 points, grabbed 36 rebounds, dished out 35 assists, and made 23 steals in 14 games in the 2020-21 campaign. O’Connor, who also suits up the NJ Shoreshots, also poured in 156 points, collected 67 boards, served up 48 dimes, and made 58 thefts in 29 tilts as a sophomore.
L’Amoreaux, a 5-foot-7 rising junior guard, chose the Rams over Butler, Binghamton, and Vermont.
In 83 games with the AAU Hoopers NY, L’Amoreaux averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game while shooting 91 percent from the charity stripe this past AAU season.
The Rams posted a 12-6 overall record and went 8-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2020-21 season.
