The Hoopers NY 2022 squad have advanced to the AAU Orlando Splash National Blue Platinum Championship semifinals on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. against Team Blake Griffin.
The road to semis included beating the Illinois Blue Star in the quarterfinals. Rising junior Nicole Melious, who has been impressive all tournament long, drained 22 points while Kaetlyn L’Amoreaux (Maine-Endwell High School, NY) contributed 12 and Maya Watts (Arlington HS, NY) added 10.

Yesterday, Hoopers NY defeated Atlanta Team Night, with L’Amoreaux scoring a team-high19 points, followed by Melious’ 17 and Saran Moschella’s (Staten Island Academy) nine in the victory.
In the same day, Hoopers NY started out the festivities by downing the FGB Rebels. Georgia Tech commit Melious led the charge with 26 points and Nicole Sanfilippo (Ardsley, NY) chipped in with 18 and Vivienne Knee (Lycee Francais de New York) added 12 in the triumph.
