Hernandez was named co-National League MVP, along with Willie Stargell, in 1979. Additionally, he was a five-time All-Star, and captured 11 consecutive Golden Glove awards in the National League from 1978 to 1988.
Hernandez, who has been a Mets color commentator since 1998, also won the World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982. He played ten seasons with Cardinals.
Hernandez slugged 162 home runs and drove in 1071 runs with .296 batting average in a 17-year MLB career.
Darling is an former professional baseball player and current, respected television sports color commentator. He recorded a 136-116 record with a 3.87 ERA in his 13-year MLB career.
Born in Hawaii, Darlin attended Yale Univeristy.
