Gill St. Bernard High School (NJ) guard Denver Anglin has received an offer from St. John’s Men’s Basketball, yesterday multiple outlets Tweeted. Anglin now has 23 offers under his belt.
In addition to St. John’s, Anglin owns offers from other Big East college programs such as UConn, Xavier, Providence, Seton Hall, Creighton, and Georgetown, plus Garden State teams, including the likes of St. Peter’s and NJIT.
The rising senior also holds offers from Miami, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Stanford, TCU, New Mexico, Bryant, Siena, George Washington, SMU, Ole Miss, Brown, and Columbia, per VerbalCommits.com.
Anglin scored 195 points, grabbed 33 rebounds, and dished out 47 assists in seven games this past season, good for a 27.86 ppg, 4.71 rpg, and 6.71 apg average.
The Montclair native played well in his sophomore year, recording 14.0 points, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
As a freshman, the 6-foot-2, 165-pounder poured in 326 points, grabbed 74 rebounds, and made 40 steals in 30 tilts.
