It was a good day for Wings Academy (NY)/NY Jayhawks guard Jay Shayne Woodard, who earned two offers from Rhode Island and Towson, today multiple outlets Tweeted.
Additionally, Woodard, a 6-foot-6, 170-pound rising senior, now has five Division I college hoop offers to his credit. In addition to Towson and Rhode Island, the list now includes Illinois, St. Peter’s (NJ), and Manhattan.
Woodard averaged 25.75 points and 16.75 rebounds per game in four contest played this past season.
Rhode Island posted a 10-15 overall record and went 7-10 in Atlantic 10 Conference action, while Towson put a 4-14 overall mark and went 3-9 in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference this past season.
