After picking up two college hoops offers a day ago, Roselle Catholic (NJ) guard Jamarques Lawrence has received one from Wichita State Men’s Basketball program, per Verbal Commits.
In addition to Wichita State, Lawrence owns offers from California, St. Bonaventure, Merrimack, Manhattan, Jacksonville, and Fairfield.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pound Plainfield, N.J., native poured in 204 points, grabbed 42 boards, served 40 assists, and made 22 steals in 15 games in the 2020-21 season.
After three years at Roselle Catholic, Lawrence, a rising senior, nears the 1000-point milestone mark with 986 points with a season left to play. Lawrence also plays hoops for the AAU NY Jayhawks.
The Shockers posted a 16-6 overall record and went 11-2 the American Conference this past season.
