Duke Men’s Basketball has offered Mackenzie Mgbako of Gill St. Bernard’s (NJ) and New Jersey Scholars Elite Basketball Club, yesterday Adam Zagoria Tweeted.
This comes on the heels of an offer from Xavier on Saturday.
Additionally, the 6-foot-8 wing owns offers from LSU, George Washington, UCONN, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, UCLA, UMass, Hofstra, Georgetown, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Bryant, TCU, Maryland, Auburn, and Rutgers, per Verbal Commits.
Mgbako only played in two games this past season, scoring 35 points and pulling down 11 boards. But the rising junior drained 380 points (14.1 ppg) and grabbed 224 rebounds (8.3 rpg) in 27 games as a freshman for the Knights.
The Duke Blue Devils posted a 13-11 record and went 9-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) this past season.
