On the heels of winning the Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year earlier this month, rising senior Kyle “Flip” Filipowski took his first official visit at Syracuse University around the same time of the award.

In addition to the Orange, the 6-foot-10, 215-pound, who attends Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Massachusetts, owns offers from a several Division Hoops colleges. Long and lean, Filipowski–a Westtown, N.Y., native–possesses all the necessary tools to succeed at the next level. He owns a good outside jumper, is tenacious and determined on both ends of the floor, and possess strong inside moves to the basket as he finishes well.
The Syracuse Orange posted am 18-10 0verall mark and went 9-7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) this past season.
