Junior small forward Chisom Okpara of La Lumiere School Prep (Ind.) and the AAU New York Rens yesterday earned an offer from Washington Men’s Basketball, per Tweets from the high school and college basketball recruiting world.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Bronxville, NY, native also owns offers from Northwestern, Minnesota, Penn State, East Carolina, Pittsburg, Seton Hall, Xavier, Cal Poly, UPenn, Columbia, Harvard, Manhattan, Ole Miss, Bryant, Iona, Howard, Brown, Providence, DePaul, Mass, and Yale.
That is quiet the impressive list of college hoops programs for Okpara, who has said, to multiple outlets, that he wants to attend a college that develops players and wins games, as he has NBA aspirations.
The Washington Huskies posted a 5-21 mark and went 4-16 in Pac-12 Conference action.
