LIU transfer Jermaine Jackson Jr. has committed to Central Michigan, today college basketball insider Jon Rothstein Tweeted.
Jackson, a 5-foot-10 junior guard, averaged 15 points, with a season-high 24 against Central Connecticut State while with the Sharks in February of 2021.
Before transferring to LIU, Jackson played at Detroit Mercy, where he was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team in 2017-18.
Jackson was a four-year starter at Dakota High School, where guided his team to four-straight MAC Red titles and district championships, two regional titles and a state semifinals appearance in 2016.
The Central Michigan Chippewas posted a 7-16 mark and went 3-13 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) action this past season.
