Staten Island Academy/Hoopers NY’s Saran Moschella Commits to Navy Women’s Hoops

Anchors Away, Saran Moschella.

Moschella, a sophomore at Staten Island Academy and an AAU Hoopers NY standout, has verbally committed to United States Naval Academy Women’s Basketball, today she Tweeted.

Staten Island Academy’s Saran Moschella Lands with Navy.

Moschella was one of the top NYC high school freshmen last season for Staten Island Academy, averaging 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game.

An athletic player, Moschella earned freshman All-City second team accolades on NYGHoopsreport.com last season.

Navy posted a 5-7 overall record and went 5-3 in Patriot League Conference (PLC) action this past campaign.
