Yonkers Native Sean Smith Transfers to D 2 New Haven Hoops

Former Manhattanville (DIII) guard Sean Smith, Jr. is raising his level of play, as the Yonkers (NY) native has committed to Division II New Haven Men’s Basketball, tonight Verbal Commits D 2 Tweeted.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Sacred Heart High School (CT) alumnus missed the entire 2019-20 season due to injury. But Smith, with a year of eligibility left, has earned several accolades in his previous campaign with the Valiants, including the D3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region First Team, NABC Division III All-District Second Team, First Team All-Met, and MAC Freedom co-Player of the Year honors.
