After entering the transfer portal last week, former New Mexico power forward Bayron Matos has received an offer from Seton Hall (NJ) hoops, today he Tweeted.
Matos, a Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native, has four seasons of eligibility left, as he is keeping all of his options open, including returning to New Mexico, according to a Fdathletics’ Tweet.
The 6-foot-9, 215-pound Matos, out of Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Tenn.), scored 120 points (six ppg), grabbed 81 rebounds, had 11 blocks, and made four steals in 20 games played.
The Pirates posted a 14-13 overall mark and went 10-9 in Big East Conference action this past campaign.
