Florida Southwestern State (FL) guard Jaden Campbell has earned an offer from Division I St. Francis Brooklyn Men’s Basketball program, yesterday VerbalCommits.com Tweeted.
The sophomore has averaged 13.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in nine contests this season.
Campbell, 21, played in 23 games as a freshman, starting five, averaging 4.2 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field. He scored in double figures four times, including a career-high 14 in a Bucs’ win over Combine Academy and 11 in his collegiate debut against Miami Triple Threat.
Campbell joined FSS after playing at The Rock School in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. As a senior, the 6-foot-five, 185 pounder averaged 14 points and five boards per game, leading his squad to a State Championship.
The list of stars that Campbell has played with is long and includes the likes of NBA lottery pick RJ Barrett and Oklahoma City guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
FSS is 8-1 and 4-0 in NJCAA Region 8 Conference action so far this year.
The Terries are 8-9 and 8-8 in Northeast Conference play thus far this season.
