Jai Smith, an ex-Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY) High School basketball star who now attends Word of God Christian Academy’s (NC), received an offer from Michigan State University Men’s Hoops, today he Tweeted.
Smith’s latest offer adds to his college recruitment, which is growing by leaps and bounds these days.
The 6-foot-9, 235-pounder’s expansive list also includes schools the likes of Baylor, Tulsa, Howard, South Carolina, Clemson, Missouri, St. John’s, Marquette, Wake Forest, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Texas A&M, Alabama, Memphis, Ole Miss, Xavier, Houston, VCU, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Hofstra, UMass, Oregon State, San Diego State, Saint Louis, Rutgers, among others.
The Spartans are off to an 8-4 start and are 2-4 in Big 10 Conference action this season. Last year, The Univeristy of Michigan posted a 22-9 record and went 14-6 in conference play.
