Blair Academy (NJ) junior Otega Oweh has received an offer from Virginia Tech, today he Tweeted.
Additionally, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard has standing offers from several Division I schools, including Seton Hall, George Mason, Georgetown, UMass, Maryland Eastern Shore, St. John’s, Nebraska, DePaul, George Washington, Columbia, Brown, and Pennsylvania, per VerbalCommits.com.
Oweh was a standout wing at Rutgers Prep, scoring 433 points and grabbing 191 boards in 29 tilts last season (14.9 ppg and 6.6 rpg).
The Hokies are 10-2 and 4-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) so far this season. Last year, Virginia Tech posted a 16-16 record and went 7-13 in conference action in 2019-20.
