Avon Old Farms (CT) senior forward Omari Salvi has received a scholarship offer from University of Science Devils Division II Men’s Basketball program in Philadelphia, PA, yesterday his coach, Matt Mihalich, Tweeted.
Salvi, a 6-foot-5 wing who graduated from the Bullis School in Maryland, is spending a year at the Connecticut Prep school know for its top-notch sports program as well as its academics.
The Maryland native, who holds a high GPA, per NewEnglandRecruitingreport.com, has interest from the likes of CCSU, VMI, Mount St. Mary’s, Georgia State, and Texas A&M CC, among other colleges.
The Devils posted a 6-20 record and went 4-15 in Central Athletic Colligate Conference (CACC) play last season.
