St. Thomas Aquinas (NJ) junior guard Jaquan Harris has received an offer from Division I Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball, yesterday Andrew Slater Tweeted.
Additionally, Harris holds offers from UCONN, Little Rock, Temple, Bryant, Virginia Tech, plus schools from the Garden State such as Rutgers, and the Big East’s Seton Hall, as well as Marquette, Georgetown, and St. John’s, among other D I colleges, per VerbalCommits.com.
The 6-foot-4-inch point guard enjoyed a spectacular sophomore season, as he dropped in 389 points, collected 113 rebounds, and dished out 140 assists in the 2019-20 season for the Trojans.
Previous to his sophomore year, Harris attended the Patrick School in Hillside, New Jersey, where he posted 40 points and grabbed 12 boards as a freshman.
Several high school basketball insiders consider Harris to be of high character and one of the best point guards in New Jersey and should be included among upper-echelon player talks in the nation as he gets older.
Also, Harris plays AAU hoops for the renowned New York Jayhawks program. He suited up for the New Jersey Bulldogs as well.
