Georgetown Puts in Bid for NJ’s Gill St. Bernards’ Denver Anglin

The Hoya Hoops Men’s team made a bid to solidify its future by offering Gill St. Bernard’s (NJ) 2022 guard Denver Anglin, he Tweeted yesterday.

The Montclair, NJ, native is a highly sought after high school prospect, as numerous boy’s basketball programs have offered him a scholarship, including Big East Rivals Seton Hall, plus other Garden State programs such as St. Peter’s and NJIT.

Additionally, Anglin has offers from Columbia, Brown, Ole Miss, SMU, George Washington, Siena, Bryant, New Mexico, and TCU, per Verbal Commits.com.

Anglin played well in his sophomore season, recording 14.0 points per game, 3.8 assists per game, and 1.8 steals per game.

As a freshman, the 6-footer poured in 326 points, grabbed 74 rebounds, and made 40 steals in 30 tilts.

Georgetown posted a 15-17 overall mark and went 5-13 in the Big East Conference last year.
