Kareem Ewell of the Patrick School (NJ) has received an offer from the Division I East Carolina University’s (ECU) Men’s Basketball program, Team Final of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) announced today on Twitter.
Ewell, a 6-foot-7 Gifted wing/forward, is a transfer student-athlete from Dickinson High School in Wilmington, DE.
Ewell said he decided to leave the Delaware high school basketball and move to New Jersey to take that next step in his hoops career and play stiffer competition, per source.
Well, Ewell will get that opportunity, as the Celtics are one of the Garden State’s top high school boy’s basketball programs that face all types of top-level teams during the season.
The Pirates finished the 2019-20 campaign at 11-20 and posted a 5-13 record in the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
